Wonder+ is Wonder’s $7.99/month membership that removes the per-order service fee. It’s straightforward in concept but the value depends entirely on how often you order. We’ve been using it for several months and tracked every order to figure out the actual break-even.

Here’s what we found.

What Wonder+ actually does

Wonder+ does one thing: it removes the service fee on every order. That’s it. The service fee on a typical Wonder order is $1.99 to $2.99, varying by order size and location. Wonder+ members pay $0 service fee on every order, no minimum.

What Wonder+ does not do:

  • It doesn’t change menu prices
  • It doesn’t unlock new restaurants
  • It doesn’t give you priority delivery
  • It doesn’t include free delivery (delivery is already free on every Wonder order)
  • It doesn’t stack with the new-customer referral code

If you’re a new customer, use the ALMA465 referral code first to get $30 off your first two orders. Wonder+ doesn’t block the new-user code, but you should get the $30 before deciding whether the ongoing membership is worth it.

The math

The service fee on a typical Wonder order is about $2.50 (average of $1.99-$2.99). At $7.99/month, Wonder+ pays for itself if you order 4 or more times per month.

Orders per monthService fee paid (no Wonder+)Wonder+ costNet with Wonder+
1~$2.50$7.99−$5.49 (lose)
2~$5.00$7.99−$2.99 (lose)
3~$7.50$7.99−$0.49 (break even)
4~$10.00$7.99+$2.01 (win)
6~$15.00$7.99+$7.01 (win)
10~$25.00$7.99+$17.01 (win)

The break-even point is 3-4 orders per month. Below that, you’re paying more for the membership than you save. Above that, it’s pure savings.

How Wonder+ compares to DashPass and Uber One

FeatureWonder+ ($7.99/mo)DashPass ($9.99/mo)Uber One ($9.99/mo)
Removes delivery feeN/A (already $0)Yes (on $12+ orders)Yes (on $15+ orders)
Removes service feeYesNoPartially (reduced, not removed)
Min order requirementNone$12$15
Menu price markupNone (Wonder doesn’t markup)10-25% markup remains10-25% markup remains
Member-only dealsOccasionalYesYes

The key difference: Wonder+ removes the service fee entirely. DashPass and Uber One remove the delivery fee but don’t touch the menu markup or the service fee. Since Wonder’s delivery is already free, the service fee is the only fee to remove — and Wonder+ does that completely.

The comparison gets more interesting when you factor in menu markups. DashPass saves you the $5 delivery fee but you still pay $4-6 in menu markups per order. Wonder+ saves you $2.50 in service fees and you pay $0 in delivery fees and $0 in menu markups. On a per-order basis, Wonder+ actually saves more than DashPass for most order frequencies.

When Wonder+ is worth it

Get Wonder+ if:

  • You order Wonder 4+ times per month (it pays for itself)
  • You order Wonder 6+ times per month (it’s a clear win — you save $7+ per month)
  • You regularly order for a household (multiple people = more orders = more fee removal)

Skip Wonder+ if:

  • You order Wonder 1-2 times per month (the membership costs more than the fee you’d save)
  • You’re a new customer who’s only trying Wonder for the $30 discount (decide on Wonder+ after you know whether you’ll keep ordering)
  • You split your delivery between Wonder and other apps (the membership only helps if Wonder is your primary delivery service)

How to decide

If you’re not sure, track your Wonder orders for a month without the membership. Count how many times you ordered and multiply by $2.50. If that number is higher than $7.99, get Wonder+ the next month. If it’s lower, skip it.

The practical pattern we’ve seen: people who live within a 10-minute walk of a Wonder kitchen tend to order 6-10 times per month and benefit clearly from Wonder+. People who live further out or who use Wonder as an occasional alternative to DoorDash/UberEats tend to order 2-3 times per month and don’t break even.

How to sign up

Wonder+ is managed inside the Wonder app under Account > Wonder+. You can cancel anytime from the same screen. There’s no annual plan — it’s month-to-month only.

If you’re not a Wonder customer yet, start with the ALMA465 referral code for $30 off your first two orders. Use those two orders to gauge whether you’ll order enough to justify Wonder+.
